PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve arranging performance of a pressure side damping force generating means, in a front fork of a motorcycle for arranging the pressure side damping force generating means in a bottom part of a wheel shaft side tube. SOLUTION: This front fork 10 of the motorcycle is provided with a horizontal hole 51 crossing an extension line of a cylinder 21 in the bottom part of the wheel shaft side tube 12 and opening in an outer peripheral rear part of the bottom part. The pressure side damping force generating means 50 is inserted into the horizontal hole 51. The pressure side damping force generating means 50 has a partition wall member 54, and a damping force generating valve 57A arranged in the partition wall member 54. One side oil chamber 55A partitioned by the partition member 54 is communicated with an oil chamber 27 of the cylinder 21, and the other side oil chamber 55B is communicated with an oil reserving chamber 28.
