PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily check the wait time needed for a projector device to become ready to start, and the wait time needed for the projector device to stop. SOLUTION: In the projector device 1, a ringlike operation key 4 with transparent parts 4a to 4d is attached to a top plate 1a, and light-emitting parts 2a to 2d are disposed in areas, corresponding to the transparent parts 4a to 4d. When a power source button 6 is turned on, the light-emitting parts 2a to 2d are successively turned on clockwise, until the projector device 1 becomes ready to start. When the power source button 6 is turned off, the light-emitting parts 2a to 2d are turned on counterclockwise, until the projector device 1 becomes ready to stop. Based on the light emission forms of light-emitting parts 2a to 2d, information about the present state of the projector 1 is transmitted to a user. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
