PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module whose strength is enhanced, in a camera module equipped with a macro (close-up) function in addition to an ordinary photographing function, and in a portable terminal equipped with the camera module. SOLUTION: The camera module 1 has a lens holder 5 holding a lens 6, a holder 4 holding the lens holder 5 so as to move in an optical axis direction, a rotating member 8 intervening between the lens holder 5 and the holder 4 and allowing the lens holder 5 to move in the optical axis direction, and an energizing member 9 for pressing the lens holder 5 to the rotating member 8. The holder 4 has a pillar part 404 which can be elastically deformed, and a pawl part 406 which is provided on the pillar part 404 so as to hold and fix the energizing member 9 in between with the lens holder 5, and also a shutter device 30 functioning as a member to be attached to open/shut an optical path to the lens 6 is attached to the holder 4.
