PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic coated paper that is free of the occurrence of blister during fixing and superior in the stability of the size of paper, which is used for an indirect contact dry system electrophotographic full-color copying machine and a printer, and to provide an image forming method which uses the coated paper. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic coated paper, a coating layer, comprising a pigment and an adhesive as its main components, is formed on each side of the base material comprising wooden fiber, the coating layer being in the range of 5 to 15 g/m<SP>2</SP>in the amount of solid content per side, and its equilibrium moisture content under the environment of 28°C 85%R.H. is 8 mass% or lower.
