<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source lamp which has a light emission tube, a reflector, and auxiliary mirrors, the light source lamp being characterized in that gaps between the light emission tube and auxiliary mirrors is securely filled with an adhesive to guarantee installation precision and fixation strength of the auxiliary mirrors. <P>SOLUTION: An auxiliary mirror 30a has an auxiliary reflecting surface 31, a main body part 32, and a neck-shaped part 33 and is provided with a tapered part 35a which smoothly expands toward its end to make it easy to inject the adhesive into the gap 40 formed with a sealing part 13b of the light emission tube 10. Instead of or in addition to the tapered part 35a, a tapered part 35a is added to provide a diameter increased part 36 at an end of the neck-shaped part 33 for an auxiliary mirror 30b, a through hole 37 in a flank of the neck-shaped part 33 for an auxiliary mirror 30c, and a cut part 38 in the end of the neck-shaped part 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
