PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic stop/start control device for performing a highly accurate automatic stop/start control of a vehicle, and reducing assembly man-hours in attaching an inclination detection means constituted of an acceleration sensor (G sensor) to the vehicle. SOLUTION: In the automatic stop/start control device for a vehicle with an engine which can be stopped or started without operating an ignition key, the automatic stop/start control device has the inclination detection means detecting the inclination of the vehicle, and a correction means correcting a detection value of the inclination detection means based on a correction quantity calculated by using variation in at least a vehicle speed. It is determined whether or not the automatic stop/restart of the engine should be performed, based on the corrected detection value of the inclination detection means corrected by the correction means.
