PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer as an inexpensive product by reducing a manufacturing cost, which is securely fixed once it is attached to a reinforcing bar and has a sufficient strength without coming off. SOLUTION: A piece of the steel wire is pressed worked into a unique shape. 1 is the hardware according to the invention while 2 is the main reinforcing bar and 3 is a hoop reinforcing bar. 4 is a cap made of synthetic resin, which contacts with a mould to establish a covering of the reinforcing bar. Not having as much resiliency as a piano wire, the steel wire as a material for the hardware is utilized within the limit of its resiliency while the steel wire inclines, not meeting perpendicularly, against the hoop reinforcing bar 3 since a certain length is necessary for ensuring a restoring force against some deformation.
