PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a makeup cosmetic composition comprising a colorant and imparts a color effect with reduced defection compared to that of a single colorant. SOLUTION: This Invention relates to the makeup composition comprising solid particles of a material having a refractive index ranging from 1.2 to 1.45, a liquid binder having a refractive index ranging from 1.2 to 1.6 and a colorant selected from reflective particles other than reflective particles comprising a mica substrate, goniochromatic colouring agents, photochromic colouring agents, fluorescent agents and mixtures thereof.
