FLUFFY BAMBOO FIBER MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluffy bamboo fiber manufacturing method capable of efficiently obtaining a fluffy bamboo fiber bundle suitable for manufacturing a fiberboard. SOLUTION: A bamboo material cut so as to leave an interval in its longitudinal direction is compressed and torn to be formed into a flat plate shape under compression. The flat plate-shaped bamboo material formed under compression is steamed under a heated steam atmosphere and the steamed bamboo material is fibrillated under normal pressure at a temperature higher than the normal temperature to manufacture fluffy bamboo fibers.
