The invention concerns a refractory product comprising more than 85% of zirconia (ZrO<SUB>2</SUB>), characterized in that it comprises in wt. % with respect to oxides: ZrO<SUB>2</SUB>>92%, SiO<SUB>2</SUB>: 2 to 8%, Na<SUB>2</SUB>O: 0.12 to 1%, Al<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>: 0.2 to 2%, 0.5%<=Y<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>+CaO<=2.6%, with the proviso that Y<SUB>2</SUB>O<SUB>3</SUB>: 0.3 to 2% and that CaO: 0.5 to 1.93%.
