The heat exchanger housing (1) is an insulating sandwich structure of boards, with an insulation material filling the space between an outer and an inner plate. Plastics hollow profiles (21) are fitted as a frame on the outer plate (3') and cover the insulation filling (5). The outer plate structure is bonded to the inner plate (4') by an adhesive. The housing is closed by a door (11) on hinges (6).
