In equipment for finishing textiles with a woven ground and protruding fibers or loops, e.g. velvet, by wet treatment with Aloe vera barbaensis-containing liquor by mixing with the raw material, treating the tops or finishing the goods by padding, pouring, spraying or atomizing and then removing the excess liquor by suction and/or drying : In equipment for finishing textiles, i.e. pile and nap fabrics, with a woven ground and protruding fibers or loops, e.g. plush, velvet, or nonwoven materials in tubular or open breadth form, by wet treatment with a liquor by mixing with the raw material, treating the tops or finishing the goods by padding, pouring, spraying or atomizing and then removing the excess liquor by suction and/or drying, the aqueous liquor contains an admixture (I) of extract of Aloe vera barbaensis. An independent claim is also included for equipment for finishing such textiles by wet treatment as above, in which the aqueous liquor contains admixture (II) of odor-absorbing agent.
