<p>A structure for connecting an indoor unit with an outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to promptly and conveniently connect an indoor unit with an outdoor unit and to protect a connector pipe from external temperature and shock. A connector pipe(20) is formed of a high pressure refrigerant circulation pipe connecting part, a low pressure refrigerant circulation pipe connecting part, a drain hose connecting part and an electric wire connector connecting part embedded in a wall(11) or bottom(13) with exposing both ends thereof through a concave part(15) formed at the wall. A connection fixing element(30) is installed in the concave part for connecting both ends of the connector pipe with an indoor unit and an outdoor unit. The connection fixing element includes an inner panel(32), a first adaptor(36), an outer panel(40), a second adaptor(42), and a protective cover(44). The inner panel is inserted into the concave part and passes an end of the connector pipe through. The first adaptor is inserted through an aperture of the inner panel, being closely fixed at the inner panel by interposing a packing member(34) into an end screw surface of the connector pipe. The outer panel is inserted through the aperture of the inner panel and an edge thereof is fixed at a wall of an edge of the concave part by a plurality of joint members(38) and passes an end of the first adaptor through. The second adaptor is inserted through an aperture of the outer panel, being closely fixed at the outer panel by interposing the packing member into an end screw surface of the first adaptor and being connected with the indoor unit and the outdoor unit. The protective cover selectively covers the aperture of the outer panel.</p> |
