<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taxi meter system in which a noncontact type card can be used. <P>SOLUTION: A taxi fare settlement system is provided with; a taxi meter 20 which computes the taxi fare and outputs fare information; a noncontact type card reading/writing device 60 which reads settlement card information from a non-contact type card 61 with a charging function; and a settlement device 50 which conducts off-line settlement for the fare based on the settlement card information read from the noncontact type card 61 with a charging function by the noncontact type card reading/writing device 60 and the fare information outputted from the taxi meter 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
