DRIVING FORCE TRANSMITTING MEMBER AND MOTOR DRIVEN HOUSING TYPE MIRROR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmitting member capable of easily and efficiently inserting a distal end part of an inserting part of a driving shaft into a fitting groove of the driving force transmitting member without requiring an exclusive tool at the time of the inserting, and to provide a motor driven housing type mirror capable of reducing the cost of the manufacturing by using the driving force transmitting member for a rotating and driving mechanism.

SOLUTION: A pair of guide surfaces 9d for guiding the distal end part 8b of the inserting part 8a to the fitting groove 9a are provided on each of two long side 9b sides of cross section of the fitting groove 9a. The pair of guide surfaces 9d guide the distal end part 8b of the inserting part 8a to the fitting groove 9a so that a short side part 8c of the distal end part 8b of the inserting part 8a may draw a spiral track and the distal end part 8b of the inserting part 8a may be conformed to the shape of the fitting groove 9a at an entrance of the fitting groove 9a.
