PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CT scanner for finding a rotational center from scan data of a specimen in a system for implementing a half scan. SOLUTION: The computer tomography apparatus is constituted so as to find the rotational center as a virtual rotational center for providing the best relative relationship between transmission data at many points on a sinogram formed by many transmission data of the specimen 4, the many points determined by setting the virtual rotational center and the transmission data at the many points at which opposite radiation paths are formed.
