PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device of an apparatus, putting in and out a console panel without any increase in height of the front even in the case of the apparatus including a large console panel. SOLUTION: In putting out the console panel 15 from a panel box 14, the console panel 15 is a little pushed in to release the locking state of an engagement part 31 and a locking part 32. Whereupon, a rotating plate 26 is rotated by the energizing force of a spring 28 to push forward a panel support part 21, and the respective guide pins 24, 25 are slid in an upward inclined upper guide groove 22 and a linear lower guide groove 23, respectively, and moved forward, so that the console panel 15 put out of a front opening 18 is moved forward and simultaneously declined little by little at the forward end side to be held with such a gradient that this side is lower.
