PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying and ventilating device for a bathroom, dispensing with a sheet metal covering the contour of products such as a heater part and an air duct for ventilation and exhaust, and reducing the power consumption. SOLUTION: In this bathroom ventilating drier, a fan motor 15, a fan 14 rotated by the fan motor 15 and a heater 16 disposed on the upstream part of a blowout opening 13 are disposed in the drier body 11 provided with an exhaust port 11 on the side for discharging the air in a bathroom to the outside of the room and with a suction opening 12 and the blowout opening 13 on the lower surface to communicate with the bathroom. The air sucked from the suction opening 12 by the rotation of the fan 14 is introduced into at least one of the exhaust port 11 and the blowout opening 13. The surface area of the heater 16 is 1×10<SP>-4</SP>m<SP>2</SP>per 1W or more, the wind velocity of air passed through the heater 16 is 0.5 m/s or more, and the surface temperature of the heater 16 is 180°C or less. Since the heater operates with low input power, the temperature can be lower, the sheet metal covering the contour is not needed, and low power consumption can be achieved.
