PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation floating type hitting treatment method capable of satisfying quality/treatment-performance/device-constitution of an object to be treated to higher degree, and a rotation floating type hitting treatment device. SOLUTION: A plurality of long rotation floating type hitting bodies 35 mounted to a periphery of a rotation shaft 21 are horizontally rotated at high speed in a treatment vessel 12. The object to be treated charged and dropping off in the treatment vessel 12 is hit by the respective hitting bodies 35 during the high speed horizontal rotation. When the object to be treated is hit by the respective hitting bodies 35 during the high speed horizontal rotation, the object to be treated is made collision to a vertical collision surface 16a of a fixed crushing member 16 projected from an inner peripheral surface of the treatment vessel within a range positioned on the inner peripheral surface of the treatment vessel corresponding to a gap between the hitting bodies 35 vertically adjacent to each other and not colliding to the hitting bodies 35 at high speed horizontal rotation.
