RF COIL AND MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RF (radio frequency) coil whose sensitivity range is adjustable, and also to provide a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus having the RF coil. SOLUTION: The RF coil is used in the proximity of a subject to be photographed for conducting magnetic resonance photographing. The RF coil has n pieces ((n) is an integer lager than 2) of unit coils (12-32) that are not coupled mutually and a supporting means (400) for supporting the unit coils so that the rotation angles of the unit coils are adjustable on a surface parallel to a coil face without changing the relative positional relationship between the unit coils.
