PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal which allows information related to a purpose of a call to be obtained in the case of a failure of speaking to the other party when originating an emergency call or a business call. SOLUTION: When a state of speaking to the other party is not set though a telephone number registered in a channel selection information table preliminarily stored in an information storage part 130 is called, a control part 200 instructs a broadcasting reception part 170 to receive broadcasting on the basis of channel selection information registered correspondingly to the telephone number in the channel selection information table.
