PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform color conversion processing which is flexible against change of a printer with time. SOLUTION: Included are a process (S101) of outputting a color chart to a medium to be decided, a process (S102) of measuring colors of the color chart outputted onto the medium, a process (S103) of deciding the kind of the medium based upon measured values of the measured color chart and medium reference data, a process (S104) of correcting variation correction look-up tables by all kinds of media used for printing according to differences between the measured values of the color chart and an Lab value of an arbitrary medium, a process (S105) of correcting the correction look-up tables in special printing by all the kinds of media used for printing according to differences between the measured values of the color chart and the Lab value of the arbitrary medium, and a process (S106) of putting the two corrected correction look-up tables together into a look-up table.
