This method comprises: providing a game outcome in the primary game; and determining whether game data associated with the game outcome comprise a triggering outcome providing access to the selection feature. If the triggering outcome determination is positive, the method also comprises determining a type for the access to the selection feature and providing access to the selection feature according to permissions associated with the determined type of access. The multi-access selection feature may also be shared by a plurality of gaming machines.
