<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire capable of illuminating a relatively large irradiation surface by one light emitting diode with desired luminance, and capable of preventing the size of a lamp body from increasing. <P>SOLUTION: This luminaire is equipped with the light emitting diode 1, a board 2 with the light emitting diode 1 mounted thereon, and a plurality (two) of Fresnel lenses 3 arranged in front of the light emitting diode 1. The light emitting diode 1 has a light emitting diode chip 11 covered with a bombshell-shaped mold part 12, and the front end of the mold part 12 has a lens function for radiating light emitted from the light emitting diode chip 11 forward at a predetermined directivity angle. The respective Fresnel lenses 3 use a plurality of radiation directions inclined from the optical axis of the light emitting diode 1 as their optical axis directions and form a light distribution pattern F of desired illuminance on the irradiation surface, and are so arranged as to surround the light emitting diode 1 on the front side of the light emitting diode 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
