<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the reduction of noise, reduction of rotation load and insurance of safety in a rotation type display apparatus equipped with an electrooptical display body having a display screen. <P>SOLUTION: The electrooptical apparatus has the electrooptical display body 110 equipped with the display screen, a pivotally supporting structure 120 for guiding the electrooptical display body so as to be able to rotate on its own axis and a protective member 130 covering the electrooptical display body. The protective member includes an inner surface having an inner periphery shape 130C of a coaxial similar shape to an outer periphery shape 110C of a rotating space 110S which the electrooptical display body passes through and occupies at the time of rotation on a cross section orthogonally crossing a rotation axis 110X. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
