<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of alleviating cross leak of anode offgas to a cathode side and substantially alleviating exhaust gas hydrogen concentration at stoppage of the system due to abnormalities. <P>SOLUTION: The system is provided with a fuel cell (20) generating power with supply of fuel gas and oxidizing gas, a fuel gas supply shut-off means (A1 to A3) shutting off supply of fuel gas to an anode entrance of the fuel cell (20), and an anode offgas shut-off means (A4, A5) shutting off anode off-gas from an anode exit of the fuel cell (20). While the fuel gas supply shut-off means (A1 to A3) shuts off fuel gas supply to the anode entrance at abnormalities of the system, the anode offgas shut-off means (A4, A5) keeps the anode exit open at the abnormalities, and the anode offgas is shut off after given conditions are satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
