<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label printer which can confirm the printing surface of a printed label to be sent to the outside with the printing surface facing downward, while preventing the label printer from becoming oversized, structurally complicated and highly expensive. <P>SOLUTION: In this label printer, an upper cover 5 is fitted, in a freely openable way, to the upper edge part, on the rear side, of a main body enclosure 2 having a transparent resin tray 6 fitted upright, and a printed label 9 is sent out of a space between the main body enclosure 2 and the upper cover 5 in such a state that the printing surface faces downward. In this case, the printing surface side of the printed label 9 moves sliding over the tray 6 in contact with the latter, so that the printed label 9 stands upright and its printing surface can be visually checked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
