<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device of a motor which can utilize effectively a power which is size-reduced and is moreover obtained by a power regeneration at a regenerative braking time, etc., and to provide a method of controlling the same. <P>SOLUTION: The driving device K of the motor M includes a converter 1 for converting three-phase ac into a dc, and an inverter 2 for converting the dc obtained by the converter 1 into a desired ac and supplying the ac to the motor M. The converter 1 has a bridge circuit having six rectifying elements D1-D6, and transistors RP, RN, SN, SP, TP, TN connected in an antiparallel with the respective rectifying elements D1-D6 to feed back the regenerative power. In the driving device K of the motor M, a potential difference from the voltage between bus lines P and N is returned at the regenerative power to the minimum terminal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
