摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems associated with a simple matrix liquid crystal panel, in which screen separation driving of two or more separated screens are carried out, wherein the panel obtains expensive, because wires of the first layer and column electrodes and an insulating film of the second layer are formed by lamination, that large parasitic capacitance is caused between the wires of the first layer and the column electrodes of the second layer, because the column electrodes of the second layer are formed on the wires of the first layer and power consumption is increased, and that deformation of waveforms of signals applied to electrodes between separated screens, caused by their mutual influence due to the parasitic capacitance, which results in lowering of display quality. <P>SOLUTION: The wire of the first layer and the column electrode of the second layer are insulated from each other with color filters and a flattening film. The wire of the first layer and the column electrode of the second layer are connected to each other, by forming a through hole on a part of a black matrix with patterning and subsequently forming the electrode of the second layer. Also the wire of the first layer is formed thin with a thin film of a metal, such as aluminum and it is made so as not to superpose on the column electrode of the second layer to achieve low resistance and reduced parasitic capacitance, and the simple matrix liquid crystal panel, having low power consumption and with a high quality display, is realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
