<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain downsizing of a connector having a lock arm. <P>SOLUTION: A hood 23 with which a female connector F engages inside is provided at a male housing 20. A fitting portion 26 for fitting a metal member 40 is provided at the male housing 20, and a lock arm 43 which fits and fixes to a locked 16 of the female connector F is provided at the metal member 40.
