NOISE ELIMINATING DEVICE, SPEECH RECOGNITION DEVICE, AND CAR NAVIGATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the noise eliminating performance of a noise eliminating device that removes noise components relating to the reproduced sound of audio equipment performing multichannel reproduction from input signals of microphones. SOLUTION: An audio canceler 20 acquires audio signals XL(t) and XR(t) of respective channels, which are subjected to convolutional operation using filter coefficients WL[K] and WR[k] to generate noise-eliminated signals UL(t) and UR(t) by adaptive filters 23L and 23R. An addition part 21 adds input signals XM(t), and UL(t) and UR(t) of the microphones, eliminating noise components from the signal XM(t) and outputs a signal U(t) after the noise elimination. Nonlinear conversion parts 27L and 27R perform nonlinear conversion of the signal U(t). Respective filter learning parts 25L and 25R calculate filter coefficients FL[k] and FR[k] to be set next based upon the signal f(U(t)) after the nonlinear conversion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
