PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a relative distance between connecting parts and a distance to the ground, and to reduce a device in size as a whole, in the cable connecting parts of a switchgear. SOLUTION: The switchgear is provided with a cable connecting tool 3 comprising an insulating body 7 and a relay conductor 8, a through-hole 7a and a window 7b for connection work are formed at the insulating body 7, a part of the relay conductor 8 is embedded in the insulating body 7 around the through-hole 7a and the other is exposed in the through-hole 7a so as to face the window 7b, and conductor peeled-out parts 4a, 5a of a cable 4 and a connecting conductor 5 that are inserted from above and below the through-hole 7a, respectively, are coupled to the exposed part.
