PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a printing hammer structure that does not degrade print quality even at a high temperature, namely during continuous printing, and maintains a stable responsiveness of the printing hammer in a dot-line printer performing dot printing. SOLUTION: The dot-line printer is provided with a means to vary the spring constant of a hammer spring formed of a thermal expansion member having a fine gap with a hammer spring at low temperatures and contacting the hammer spring caused by thermal expansion at the high temperatures in a front yoke.
