PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator for eyelashes with which cosmetic such as mascara is applied to the eyelashes in such a way that a proper amount of cosmetic is uniformly applied and the eyelashes is dispersed so as not to be stuck to each other, and nonuniform attachment is prevented by aligning the attachment directions of fibers in the case of the mascara including the fibers. SOLUTION: The applicator for the eyelashes includes multiple grooves disposed in parallel at fixed pitch, which have a prescribed length in an applying direction (a direction for stroking the eyelashes) and hold the fibers in the cosmetic in an aligned manner in the applying direction.
