The curtain rail (1) is designed as a u-shaped profile with narrow inwards pointing segments at the lower side holding several curtain or blind carrying elements (2). Each of the elements (2) has an upper area assembled of two rectangular segments and a ring-shaped clip-in segment (3) open at the bottom for the insertion of the upper edge of the blind (101) fitted with a round bar. The clip-in segments (3) are attached to the holding elements (2) with longitudinally positioned sticks guided through a pipe-shaped area on top.
