<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily overcome the problem occurring in relation to update of a program, and recover a device and/or program. <P>SOLUTION: This information processing device is provided with a program storage means for storing a program, an updating data reception means for receiving updating data relating to the program stored in the program storage means, a program updating means for updating the corresponding program stored in the program storage means on the basis of the updating data, and includes an update interruption determining means (a step S11) for determining whether update of the program by the program updating means is interrupted or not when the information processing device is started at a previous time, an operating system starting means (a step S12 or a step S17) for starting a corresponding operating system in response to a determination result in the update interruption means (the step S11), and a first program recovering means for recovering the program stored in the program storage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
