PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain thermal deformation of a pressure plate even though friction between a pressure face of the pressure plate and a friction connecting section of a clutch disk is generated in a clutch cover assembly. SOLUTION: The clutch cover assembly 4 comprises a clutch cover 41, the pressure plate 42, and a diaphragm spring (pressure member) 43. The clutch cover 41 is fixed on a flywheel 2 at a friction face 21 side of the flywheel 2. The pressure plate 42 is mounted on the clutch cover 41 in a relatively irrotatable state. A pressure face 44 pushing the friction connecting section 32 is arranged on one face of the pressure plate 42, and a groove 45 extending to a radial direction is formed on the pressure face 44.
