PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor plate connecting fitting which can firmly connect floor plates together by conducting work only from above a floor. SOLUTION: The floor plate connecting fitting 11 is formed of an upper member 12, a lower member 13, and a bolt 14 connecting both the members together. The upper member 12 has a flat plate portion 15 mounted on an area near a boundary between the floor plates 1, 1' adjacent to each other, downward-facing L-shaped engaging portions 16 engaging with slot edges 5a of one of the floor plates, and a bolt insertion hole 18 located over a slot 5 of the other floor plate 1'. The lower member 13 has a geometry that is insertable into the slot 5 from above and engageable with a lower surface of the floor when rotated through predetermined degrees, and has a screw hole 22a formed therein. Then the upper member 12 and the lower member 13 are connected and fastened to each other by screwing the bolt 14 inserted via the bolt insertion hole 18 into the screw hole 22a formed in the lower member 13.
