摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminescent material having a higher luminous efficiency than the conventional, to provide an electroluminescent element using the same, and to provide a host material used for the same. SOLUTION: The luminescent material comprises a host material and a dopant material and satisfies relationships 1: 0 eV<E<SB>somo</SB>(host)-E<SB>somo+1</SB>(dopant)≤3.50 eV [wherein E<SB>somo</SB>(host) is the orbital energy of SOMO in the stable structure of a host anion derived by anionizing the host material; and E<SB>somo+1</SB>(dopant) is the orbital energy of SOMO+1 in the stable structure of a dopant cation derived by cationizing the dopant material when they are calculated according to a non-empirical molecular orbital calculation using the restricted Hartree-Fock method].
