PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method of an elevator capable of largely reducing a continuous non-operation time. SOLUTION: A process S1 of removing an existing car position indicator and an existing frame body, and a process S2 of removing an existing operation panel and an existing side plate are performed. Then, a process S3 of mounting a frame body for repair to the upper part of a car instead of the existing frame body and a process S4 of mounting a side plate for repair to the right sleeve wall of the car instead of the existing side plate are performed. Then, a process S5 of temporarily holding a temporary car position indicator and the existing operation panel on the side plate for repair is performed. Thus, a first construction process T1 formed of these processes is performed. Then, a normal operation process T2 of the elevator is performed. Then, a second construction process T3 formed of a process S6 of mounting an operation panel for repair to the side plate for repair instead of the existing operation panel and a process S7 of mounting a car position indicator for repair to the side plate for repair instead of the temporary car position indicator is performed.
