PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device having a sufficient waterproof property so as to endure against washing for preventing water from invading into incorporated precision equipment and an endoscope device having the same. SOLUTION: The endoscope has a display screen 32 displaying an image, a case 31 having a first opening portion 31A abutting to the display screen 32, a lid member 33 covering a second opening portion 31B disposed at a position opposite to the first opening portion 31A, a biasing member 34 abutting to the lid member 33 and biasing the display screen 32 against the first opening portion 31A.
