<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection controller of an engine in which the generation of a smoke is suppressed by optimally defining a fuel injection period by an injector for injecting the fuel in the cylinder and which can suppress knocking. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel injection controller of the engine having an injector 33 in a cylinder and a port injector 31, the end time of the fuel injection from the injector 33 in the cylinder is set as a predetermined crank angle before the intake air bottom dead center as a fixed value. Furthermore preferably, the starting time of the fuel injection from the injector 33 in the cylinder is set as the upper limit value corresponding to the rotational speed of the engine.
