<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly distribute various contents, which are not directly distributable between users conventionally, between the users, to allow a receiver to save labor of registration to a CP in distribution of pay contents, and to collect payment for a contents fee from the receiver to the CP by the agency for the CP. <P>SOLUTION: In this contents distribution control system, accounting management in contents distribution is realized by giving a CID and managing it, and direct distribution can be carried out between the users. In this way, contents can be directly acquired from a transmitter, and even for pay contents, registration to the CP can be dispensed with, and consequently, user usability can be improved. Since contents acquisition routes for the user are increased, chances of contents acquisition are boosted.
