<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compressor in which an intake valve is prevented from generating a self-excited vibration and a substantial opening degree of the inlet valve is ensured and further an engaging surface is prevented from transforming and abrading away. <P>SOLUTION: A compressor is equipped with a cylinder block including a cylinder bore, a piston that reciprocates inside the cylinder bore, a valve plate formed with an inlet for leading compressed fluid to the cylinder bore and an outlet for leading the compressed fluid inside the cylinder bore to an outside of the cylinder bore, a band-plate-like inlet valve for opening and closing the inlet, and a band-plate-like valve for opening and closing the inlet and further the compressor being formed with an inlet valve opening degree regulating depressed portion including an engaging surface against which when the inlet valve opens, an apical end of the inlet valve abuts in a peripheral wall at one end that stand face to face with the inlet valve of the cylinder bore. In the compressor, the engaging surface abuts against the apical end of the inlet valve opened regardless of the magnitude of a piston stroke or piston moving velocity in operation of the compressor, so that the engaging surface slopes down toward the center axis of the cylinder bore and in the direction away from the one end of the cylinder bore. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
