<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there is concern that false information could be written on manifest forms. <P>SOLUTION: This waste management system 100 obtains the position information of a vehicle 30 at predetermined time intervals from a position detector 32 mounted in the vehicle 30. Based on the position of disposal facilities Z operated by a disposer and the position of the vehicle 30, the waste management system 100 determines whether or not the vehicle 30 has arrived at the disposal facilities Z. If the vehicle 30 has arrived at the disposal facilities Z, the waste management system 100 automatically updates information that shows how waste is being processed into information indicating that the waste has been transported.
