PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stroboscopic device, capable of increasing the quantity of light received by a light-receiving sensor to more correctly obtain the quantity of light emitted from a flash discharge tube, and easily and accurately correcting the variations in the sensitivities of the light-receiving sensor. SOLUTION: The stroboscopic device is privided with an optical path changeover part 4a which extends from the end of an optical panel 4 and changes over the light rays, internally reflected within the optical panel 4 among light rays emitted from the flash discharge tube, in the direction where the light-receiving sensor 5 is arranged. The stroboscopic device is also privided with a light quantity adjusting means for arbitrarily variably adjusting the light quantity between the optical path changeoverg part and the light-receiving sensor.
