PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an admixture for putty or bond, providing little shear droop while keeping excellent water fluidity, enabling painting from thick painting to thin painting to be freely carried out, having excellent adhesiveness to ground, and hardly causing reduction of the thickness accompanied by drying and hardening. SOLUTION: The admixture for the putty and the bond contains a polyalkylene polyol derivative having a repeating unit U-1 represented by formula (1) and a repeating unit U-2 represented by formula (2) and having a molar ratio (U-1/U-2) of the U-1 to the U-2 of (0.5/0.5) to (0.99/0.01), and a water-soluble cellulose ether. [In the formulas, A is a divalent polyoxyalkylene residue derived from a water-soluble polyalkylene polyol having hydroxy groups at least at both terminals, having 400-100,000 number average molecular weight, and represented by HO-A-OH; B is a divalent organic residue derived from a 3-18C polyisocyanate represented by OCN-B-NCO; and D is a divalent organic group derived from a dihydroxy compound selected from compounds represented by formulas (3) to (5)].
