PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover device for a rubbish accommodator capable of being opened and closed simply without contaminating the hands owing to non-touching directly with the rubbish and assuring low cost for the manufacture and installation. SOLUTION: The cover device 2 of the rubbish accommodator 1 equipped with at least a pair of side walls 1a is furnished with a net 3 having a size covering the requisite area between the side walls, a plurality of bars 4 installed on the net and set over between the side walls, and rails 5 installed on the side walls for guiding the ends of the bars, wherein each bar moves along the rails to cause the net to open and close the opening between the side walls, and further a fixing means is provided to fix one end 3a in the opening/closing direction of the net to the specified position.
