PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blade rubber for a wiper blade capable of certainly performing protection of a film of a glass coating agent and prevention of injuring of a window glass and certainly preventing generation of wiping remaining and wiping ununiformness of rain drop or the like on a window glass surface by ensuring a contact surface of a wiping part relative to the window glass surface with no gap and uniformly slide-contacting the wiping part with the window glass surface along the whole part in a length direction. SOLUTION: The blade rubber is provided with a mounting base part 10; the wiping part 30 provided on one side in a thickness direction of the mounting base part 10; and a neck part 20 having narrower width than the mounting base part 10 and the wiping part 30 and integrally connecting the mounting base part 10 and the wiping part 30. The wiping part 30 is made to the approximately circular cross section and is made to closely and linearly contactable with the window glass surface over the whole length.
