PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer and a print system capable of reducing occurrence of broke. SOLUTION: The printer comprises a section 130 for feeding recording media 300 and 310 of a plurality of sizes, a section 120 for forming an image on the recording medium being fed from the feeding section 130, a section 180 for cutting the recording medium on which an image is formed at the image forming section 120 to produce image sheets each carrying one image, and a recovery section (distributor 186 and a recovery carrying passage L3) for feeding the marginal part of a predetermined size or larger of the recording medium cut at the cutting section 180 back to the feeding section 130 as a recording medium 300 being fed therefrom.
